That comment was directed at Kaine, who could only sigh and shake her head at that. "Well, everyone's about come back, so let's be grateful rather than bitchy."

"We were told to scout for survivors, so that's what I did. I found the two girls on a horse, found Ignis and a gunslinger on his death bed, and another here with Tyrann when we arrived. They were badly injured so we've spent the last few days attempting to not die. That's about the gist of it."
Kaine rolled her eyes at the dour explanation but it was, in fact, a logical explanation for most everything they needed to know, so it wasn't worth a verbal complaint.
