He considered for a moment, then stepped forwards again to pull her into a tight hug. When he pulled away, he'd gone very pink and wasn't making eye contact, but he cleared his throat and said, "Whatever happens, it happens. And I'm glad you were here for him before it. That's all." Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, he looked over at Cuthbert and Jamie again, and sighed. "He's right. You shouldn't be up here, not unless you're planning on picking up a gun. Go wish him luck, and get back behind the lines for now. Alright?"
