He had a very good point there, one that seemed to physically hurt her as she took it in. Kaine was quiet, creating yet another unplanned space of silence and even worse than that it didn't do her any good. No matter how she tried to rework her thought process. He was right. Of course it helped more than hurt to have something to come back to. Of course it helped to hold onto those people and their shadows. That was what helped everything move along.
